What are your most frequently used sites and applications?
Weather - planning for my day is easier when I know what to expect for the day.
News - I typically only briefly look at this for any breaking news.
Facebook - This is an incredibly diverse social media platform. I like to share pictures of my kids with my family. From a business standpoint it is a great way to connect with customers.
Email - Mostly used for communication with my kids' teachers, as well as professors.
Positive or Negative?
Generally I have positive reactions when using the various different types of media. Occasionally I find some news to be misleading, or interactions not very personal.
Meeting Needs?
I use multiple types of media in various different ways to meet my needs. Each site or application has its own purposes. Therefore one site or application could not meet my needs.
What emails catch your eye?
I ignore most emails from companies, however if I do open an email from a company it is probably because they are introducing new products. I look for emails that are not repetitive in the subject line.
How is digital marketing used today?
I have noticed that digital marketing today has become more personalized. If I search for something I start seeing advertisements for that item pop up on other sites. It is also a very effective tool that companies can use because it can reach a large audience, and be tailored to their target market better than traditional marketing.
